Radmilo Čolović and Đuro Vukmirović visited IFF Braunschweig, Germany

Two young reseacrhers from FINS visited IFF institute in Branuschweig, and here are their impressions:

According to the “Work package 3“ of “Feed to Food“ project (FP7-REGPOT-2007-3) we were in five‑week scientific visit and training at IFF research institute, Braunschweig (from April 6th until May 13th). Our engagement was connected to current AiF project “Liquid addition. Aim of “Liquid addition” project is investigation of influence of liquids, added during mixing process, on homogeneity and physical properties of feed stuffs. Practical work at IFF institute provided us opportunity to work with new type of intensive mixer and to be introduced with different devices for physical analysis of feed mixtures, such as: ring shear tester, dust view, etc. Results of our trials will be evaluated and compared with existing results of “Liquid addition” project, and summarized in form of publication. During our research work we had unselfish help and support of our dear colleagues from IFF institute.
